The title reflects the main idea of the film. With “Echoes and Timeless” I pose a discussion on how do groups of people strive to change their organisation as a living body. I was on a quest to find what houses that change. I wanted to know what are the actual beliefs and processes that lead to redefinition and reorganisation of a “territory of thinking”.

The title sets forth an opposition. While the logical one might seem to be “Echoes and Timelessness” in translating it from Bulgarian I changed the second part to “Timeless”. The reason is that in this case the term doesn’t stand only for “independence of time” and “eternal” but also for what I would call “non-transition”. It sets an opposition between, on one hand, the repeating and rhyming waves of history and, on the other hand, the timeless values and beliefs in the existence of a group of people and the feeling of never ending (or eternal) post-communist transition on Bulgaria. I shortly like to describe this film as: Reflections on the differences and similarities between transitions and changes.
